This area of work is shaped by the concern that Gender inequality fuels poverty in families, communities and nations at large from generation to generation. Gender inequality has an impact on growth performance and therefore affects poverty eradication.
Under this area;
• AWEPON supports the work of its members and Civil Society in Africa to carry out research and evidence based advocacy as means to shaping the policy agenda,
• AWEPON analyses economic policies and trains women in policy analysis and advocacy,
• AWEPON provides alternatives to oppressive Policies and stands up against economic injustice.
